February 28, 2012. The LigMaster system has been primarily developed to assist clinicians in determining the extent of ligament tear following an injury to the ankle, knee, elbow or shoulder, but the system is equally suited for researchers interested in joint stability.

Using their LigMaster, researchers at the Lynchburg College, University of Virginia and Central Michigan University have recently finalized their study on "Medial Tibiofemoral Joint Stiffness in Males and Females between Maturation Groups" and have submitted a manuscript of that title for publication.
